Standard Inspection

A standard home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of readily accessible areas of the home/property with the intention of identifying potential hazards and/or defects with the home and/or components of the home.

This includes, as applicable to the property, condition of the exterior of the building, interior walls, lighting, appliances, floors, outlets, doors, windows, decks, fences, the roof, and other commonplace parts of the home. If readily accessible, the crawl space will be visually inspected as well at no additional charge. A safety inspection for carbon monoxide and gas will be performed on any readily accessible & functional fuel burning appliances at no additional charge.

Add-On Services

Sewer Scope - A video-inspection to look for potential damages in the home’s drains such as cracks, penetrating roots, or blockages. Limited to eighty feet from the point of entry.

Thermal Inspection - An inspection of appliances such as the refrigerators, ovens, and forced air heating systems to see how well the units retain or expel heat as intended.

Lead Paint Test - Recommended for homes built prior to 1970.

Radon Testing - Recommended for all homes in Colorado.

Exhaust Scope - A video-inspection of fuel burning appliances such as fireplaces, boilers, or dryer vent systems for potential damages or blockages. Limited to eighty feet from point of entry.

Pricing

Standard inspection pricing is based on the size of the home. Square footage of home must be disclosed when scheduling. Add-on services are an additional flat rate to the appropriate standard inspection rate.

Under 1200sq ft $400

1201-1800sq ft $500

1801-2400sq ft $650

More than 2400sq ft $800

With experience in residential & mechanical plumbing, heating appliances, exhaust systems, and framing, we believe we are the right choice to help you in this step to your mountain home ownership!

Our team has a combined eight national certifications in heating appliances and exhaust systems (with more to come!) in addition to nearly two decades of skilled labor experience. We are also ASHI members with specialty training in radon testingand thermography.
